Sally Hansen Color Therapy

In the endless journey to grow out my nails I’m happy to see more brands offering beneficial polishes, that come in colors rather just base coats treatments. Sally Hansen launched their Color Therapy line which, so far, is fabulous!

Color Therapy blends a complex of natural argan, acai, and evening primrose oil to condition weak, dry nails. Argan oil contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids, as well as vitamin E, an antioxidant vital for healthy skin and nails. Acai berry oil is rich in omega-3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids that are valued for nutrition and conditioning in skin and hair care. Evening primrose oil features essential fatty acids that are known to help reinforce hair strength.

(L to R)-

Indiglow- a deep violet with blue shimmer, full opaque coverage in 2 coats.

Therapewter- sheer charcoal base with lots of gold & silver micro flakes, full opaque coverage in 2 coats.

Reflection Pool- sheer green-blue to purple large particle multichrome (looks more like a shimmer than a smooth multichrome), full opaque coverage in 3 coats.

Powder Room- frosty nude beige (this will show brushstrokes), full opaque coverage in 2 coats.

Overall- The colors are very pretty and apply well. These do have a different smell than regular polish (to me), it’s kind of sweet and doesn’t have a strong polish smell.

The colors I received reminded me of mermaids/ the ocean so I went with it and created an underwater mani with all 4 of the Color Therapy shades using the reverse stamping method and BM-S190 stamped with B Polished Midnight in Death Valley.
