Today I have swatches of a new (to me) indie brand.
Authority’s nail polish is always 5-free: Free of Formaldehyde, Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Toluene, Camphor, and Formaldehyde Resin, making it a safer choice for even younger fashion divas. All of our formulas are vegan friendly, meaning absolutely no animal by-products are used. It’s also cruelty free: It’s never tested on animals. Maintaining high quality standards is a top priority, and the long-lasting, glossy finishes on our bold colors are sure to impress!
Disco is a bright yellow-green creme, full coverage in 2-3(shown) coats . Just like many yellows there may still be very slight VNL after 3 coats, really only noticeable in person and in certain lighting.
Paradise is a dusty pastel blue with a green undertone creme. Nice formula and two coats gives you full, opaque coverage.
Emerald Sky is a blackened teal shimmer, this looks slightly duochrome (with purple flashes) but not so much on the nail. Two coats gives you full coverage, three would make it 100% opaque.
Gumdrop is a medium pink creme. Lovely formula and full coverage with 2 coats, but may need a 3rd to be 100% opaque. I used 2 coats for this swatch and indoors it looked opaque, but when I went outside I noticed slight VNL.
Overall: These are very fun and bright colors, nice formula!
Price: Authority Cosmetics polish retails for $14 but they are currently on sale (now until 1/14 @11am ET) for $11 at Gloss48.com
