Designer Nail Accents: Happy Holo’s Collection….<!- Begin Bryan ->
I recently received this Happy Holo collection from a new indie polish maker called Designer Nail Accents. And let me tell you these are soooo pretty. Why? Because they’re scattered holo jellies AND there’s even a white holo (what?!)!!
Fast and Furious is a red holo jelly, the photo makes it look more pink but it’s a beautiful cherry red color IRL. This is 3 coats.
This is 2 coats Fast and Furious over China Glaze With Love.
Pop of Orange is a bright true orange holo jelly. This is 3 coats.
This is 2 coats Pop of Orange over Kleancolor Metallic Orange.
Team Midas is a bright yellow holo jelly. This was the sheerest of the bunch and I used 4 coats for this swatch.
This is 2 coats Team Midas over Pure Ice Vintage Glam.
Poseidon’s Pool Party is a green based teal. This one is truly gorgeous and one of my favorites! This is 3 coats.
This is 2 coats Poseidon’s Pool Party over Sally Girl Green (LOVE!)
Julia is a vibrant blue holo jelly. This color reminds me of a holo jelly version of Nails Inc Baker Street. This is 3 coats.
This is 2 coats Julia over Sally Girl Mean Streak.
Royally Confused is a true purple holo jelly. This one was more opaque than the others and only needed 2 coats.
This is 2 coats Royally Confused over China Glaze Spontaneous.
Frost is a sheer white holo. The camera couldn’t really capture the holo particles but IRL this is super pretty and very etherial. This is 3 coats.
This is 2 coats Frost over Orly French White Tip.
Overall: This collection is just so pretty to look at! Since these are jellies you have lots of options with them, you can build up layers to make them opaque over layer them over different base colors to create a whole different look. The dry time was great and the formula was perfect, no thinning required!
Price: these are $8/ea (plus shipping) and you can get them at Designer Nail Accents’ Etsy store.
(These are currently only being shipped to US and Canada).
