Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit…
Purchased by Me |
Switching it up a bit today to show you swatches of the Divergent Multi- Piece Collector’s Kit from Sephora ….
(L to R) Obscure Coral, Misty Rose, Gleaming Pearl, Intelligent Bronze
Obscure Coral is a bright coral with golden shimmer. This one is HIGHLY pigmented and a little goes a very long way! Misty Rose is a soft matte pink-mauve. Gleaming Pearl is a gorgeous golden highlighter, it shifts between pearl and gold depending on the angle and lighting. Intelligent Bronze is a slightly orange toned bronzer with golden shimmer.
All of the colors in the face palette are very pigmented and have great color payoff.
To apply them I use the blush brush that comes with the kit…
I really like the blush brush end of this brush because it’s dense yet soft and applies the perfect amount of product. It can be easy to over do it with the blushes and this brush really helps to blend them out and keep them soft. The other end of this brush has a very soft and slightly fluffy crease brush. It’s on the small end of crease brushes so it’s good for doing the outer V and getting a deeper color payoff in the socket line, but I wouldn’t recommend it for blending throughout the crease because it’s not fluffy enough.
(L to R) Burnt Mahogany, Radiant Initiation, Peaceful Shimmer, Humble Sheen and Choose

(L to R) Burnt Mahogany, Radiant Initiation, Peaceful Shimmer, Humble Sheen and Choose
*bottom half of the swatches are shown under Choose*
Burnt Mahogany is a matte warm red toned brown, Radiant Initiation is a brown taupe with a subtle sheen, Peaceful Shimmer is a golden peach shimmer, Humble Sheen is a soft beige with a very subtle sheen ( this one is hard to see because it matches my skin tone), and Choose is beigy sihmmery glitter. It applies sheer but adds a lot of sparkle, it’s perfect for a pop of shine in the center of the lid or in the tear duct area.
(L to R) Bold Espresso, Intrepid Moss, Golden Honesty, Altruistic Almond and Transform

(L to R) Bold Espresso, Intrepid Moss, Golden Honesty, Altruistic Almond and Transform
*bottom half of the swatches are shown under Transform*
Bold Espresso is a warm matte brown, Intrepid Moss is a golden olive shimmer, Golden Honesty pale golden shimmer, Altruistic Almond is matte warm beige (like a matte version of Humble Sheen-again matches my skin tone almost exactly), and Transform is a pale taupe-y beige shimmery glitter (perfect for all over the lid).
(L to R) Dauntless Ink, Abnegation Stone, Erudite Sapphire, Serene Vanilla and Diverge

(L to R) Dauntless Ink, Abnegation Stone, Erudite Sapphire, Serene Vanilla and Diverge
*bottom half of the swatches are shown under Diverge*
Dauntless Ink is matte black, Abnegation Stone is a taupe-y grey with slight golden shimmer, Erudite Sapphire is a light steel blue shimmer , Serene Vanilla is a pale vanilla (perfect for under the brow), and Diverge is a sheer black with a strong gold and multi-colored shimmer.
(L to R) Choose, Transform and Diverge
The 3 transforming shades on their own, top half of the swatch is dry and the bottom half was applied wet, shown at different angles.
(L to R) Supreme Ritual, Natural Virtue, Temptation’s Choice, Fear Not
Supreme Ritual is a pale beige/peach nude, Natural Virtue is a warm peach nude, Temptation’s Choice is a very sheer peach nude with golden sparkle, and Fear Not is a warm rosey mauve with subtle golden shimmer. All of these glosses are on the sheer side and if you have pigmented lips they don’t show up very well. They have a strong vanilla-mint scent, not overpowering but very present, and a slight minty flavor. When you first apply it there’s a slight cooling sensation (nothing like a lip plumper, just a cool feeling), but it doesn’t last very long.
Overall: I really like this kit, all of the powders are very pigmented and apply/blend easily. I find myself reaching for this kit quite often, although I don’t reach for the dark shadow palette often, and you can create a variety of looks by mixing and match the shadows.
Price: This retails for $59.50 at Sephora. It’s currently not in stock but if you find it in stock I do recommend getting it.
