Today’s post features a beautiful hand-crafted necklace from one of my good friends, Valerie – owner and stitcher of Plaid Love Threads. Her shop contains the cutest hand embroidered jewelry, accessories, and home decor! I think her jewelry pieces are simply amazing, the rose featured today is so tiny, yet detailed, I’m just in awe. If you love handmade items, or unique pieces of jewelry, I highly recommend checking out her shop!
The packaging is just adorable!
To create my matching rose I used a rose from the DRK Enlaced plate and transferred it to a piece of plastic. I then built up layers of hard gel (CND Brisa, soft white) to create a 3d rose and finished it by painting it with acrylic paints. For my mani I used ILNP Long Walks, which is a STUNNING holo taupe with pink shimmer and micro gold flakes (so in love with this color!!!), and I created the border around the rose using Sally Hansen Liquid Gold.
