Sinful Shine Prosecco

A few times a year there tends to be a “must have” color that everyone wants and few can find, and Sinful Shine Prosecco is one of those colors. During my recent Bay Area Beauty Bloggers meet-up we hit about 5 or 6 Walgreens (there’s seriously a Walgreens on every corner in San Francisco) with no luck. The day after that trip I went to 3 more Walgreens before I finally found it! They had two left in stock so I grabbed both and gave one to the lovely Krystal, of Beauty by Krystal. I often feel the need to own HTF colors that I don’t really care for, because well..

But just look at this color!

Sinful Shine Prosecco.NEFSinful Shine Prosecco is a cool toned greige taupe with micro gold glass flecks. Two coats gives you full coverage and it dries to a high shine finish, this is my first Sinful Shine color and I love the formula! I didn’t think I would like this color but I find it a really nice change and it’s just super pretty.

Now I know since it’s HTF people begin searching for dupes, and one that comes up often is China Glaze Fast Track so I thought I would compare them..

Sinful Shine Prosecco.NEF-001Unfortunately these are nothing alike, ChG Fast Track on my index and ring and SS Prosecco on middle and pinky, and as you can see Fast Track is much more beige/tan and warmer. The only similarity is they have the same micro gold glass fleck shimmer.

Overall: I love this color and if you’re lucky enough to find it, grab it!

I have 2 bottles. The only SC I have duped/stashed on account of it being HTF.

Do you know if it is okay to use Seche thinner on this type of polish? (If it turns out not, at least I have that spare bottle!)

It reminds me a lot of the Taupe It Off that Sinful released previously. TIO dries as a suede but I never wear it that way. I’d love to see them side by side but I can’t find Prosecco. In fact of the 3 Walgreens within a reasonable driving distance only 1 is still carrying any of the Sinful Shine line… although they are all still carrying (barely) the regular Sinful Colors line (core colors and on rare occassion 2 or 3 bottles of each color for the collections).

I was surprised to actually find 2 bottles at Shopko today, of course they’re no longer there. Those pretty babies now belong to me. *laughs evilly*

I keep seeing people say that Fast track is a dupe for Prosecco but it’s clearly not! They are similar, but not the same. 🙂

Prosecco is gorgeous on you and right up my alley but alas, I gave not yet been able to find one! Awesome that your beauty blogger group all went out and collectively searched for it 🙂
