Parallax Polish Women in Science Parallax Polish Women in Science Collection-001Marie Curie is an orange creamsicle crelly with micro fine holo shimmer.  This dries to a semi-satin finish so it looks best with top coat and requires 3 coats to be fully opaque. If you didn’t want to do 3 coats, this would look great over a bright neon orange like China Glaze Japanese Koi. This color also glow in the dark!

Parallax Polish Women in Science CollectionChien-Shiung Wu is a vibrant cobalt blue shimmer jelly with very fine holo glitter. The formula on this is on the thick side and goes on very glossy, shown is 3 coats but 1-2 coats over a vibrant blue, like Sinful Colors Endless Blue, would look amazing.

Parallax Polish Women in Science Collection-002Dorothy Hodgkin is a bright pink coral shimmer jelly with very fine holo and red glitter. The color of this is gorgeous, but I did notice some settling of the glitter so it may be even more sparkly after it’s mixed (I tried giving it a good shake but the glitter didn’t distribute enough). And as much as I love this color, it stains, badly. When I removed this my nails were stained (and albeit lovely) shade of hot pink. I need 3 coats to make it opaque. I think this would be a perfect match to wear over China Glaze Neon & On & On.

Overall: These are nice bright colors, but they are on the sheer side and I was super sad about the staining with Dorothy Hodgkin.

Price: These retail for $10/14mL or $3/5mL and the complete collection is available for $42/14mL or $15/5mL  over at Parallax Polish’s store.

These colors are super gorgeous! I think the slightly sheer effect keeps them light and exciting. Stinks about the staining though!

What a shame about the staining, I love Dorothy Hodgkin! It looks amazing on you.

What a colorful collection. I’d buy Marie Curie because my high school was named after her and ironically enough it’s my favorite shade of the bunch.

These are really pretty… I don’t use orange often but I can see how these would look so nice during the Spring too.
