There is so many gorgeous Fall collection coming out it just makes me finger so happy! And this collection is no exception, the Barielle Me Couture collection is full of rich, beautiful shades that accompany the season perfectly.

Barielle Me Couture-005Soho at Night is a medium purple crelly. It goes on very glossy and requires three coats to reach full opacity. Because the formula is glossy I learned you have to wait for each layer to dry before adding a new coat. I didn’t notice when I was applying this, but once I went outside and the sun hit my nails I could see visible patches near the cuticle from where the polish was pulling.  So to avoid this wait a couple minutes between coats for the polish to dry a bit.

Barielle Me Couture Barielle Me Couture-001Vintage Gown is my (unexpected) favorite of the collection. Its a beautiful mauve-tan with hidden red shimmer. The shimmer can really only be seen in direct lighting but adds such a gorgeous effect. The color itself reminds me of the shades my grandmother used to wear, which may be why I like it so much! I’m not normally into colors like this but I find myself wanting to repeatedly put it on, it’s just so pretty. The formula was on the thin side but easy to work with and needs two coats for a full opaque color.

Barielle Me Couture-006Boho Chic is a dusty Kelly green/teal crelly. Nice formula and two coats gives you full, opaque coverage.

Barielle Me Couture-003 Barielle Me Couture-004Berry Posh is a rich medium pink berry creme with a slight purple undertone. The color looks closer to the shade (bottom) pic IRL. I found the formula was on the thicker side, not extremely difficult to work with but not as easy as the others in the collection. This is 2 coats for full, opaque coverage.

Barielle Me Couture-007Moda Bleu is a deep indigo/royal blue crelly. I had the same issue I had with Soho at Night with this one, due to the glossy formula there was very slight patching near the cuticle. The patching wasn’t as noticeable on this so with a slower application i don’t see this being an issue.

Barielle Me Couture-002Taupe Notch is another expected fav, me into gray..what?! Yep this is a pretty gray taupe creme that goes on nicely in 2 coats. The formula was thin but highly pigmented.

Overall: Again this is a lovely collection for Fall, a nice change from all the warm earthy colors that seem to make up most Fall collections. And to top it off, all swatches are topped with the Barielle No Chip Speed Dry top coat for that extra glossy look.

Price: Barielle shades retail for $8 (13.3mL) and are available at Barielle.com
