Royal Rainbow…

Today’s mani actually started out as an epic fail but ended up looking really pretty.
I really wanted to use my nail foils again so I tried out the Rainbow Swirl one and I think the glue the comes with it sucks because it came out like a hot mess! I tried to fix it by adding another adding another layer of glue and trying to “start over” but that just made it worse. Then I tried the cover up method and stamped over it using BM207 image plate, results weren’t horrible but I still wasn’t happy…

At this point I really didn’t want to redo do my nails so I decided to add some polish on top, thinking I would just cover it up. I chose Orly Royal Navy (which looks NOTHING like the swatches so I think they changed the formula when they redid the bottles =( ) and even though it didn’t cover it completely what showed through looked so pretty…

I wish the camera could capture how pretty this came out because through the blue you can still see purple,green and deep blue from the foil.
