After I posted this mani a while back I got a lot of requests to do a tutorial for it. I’m sorry it took so long to post this but with two kids 2 and under it’s hard to get things done lol.

I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for giving me the idea after testing the bags to get a mat. I used several zip lock bags and they worked great too.

I wanted one of those nail silicone mats but couldn’t find one. I went to a dollar general store, got a silicone baking mat for less than $5. Works beautiful. When you roll it, the decals come right off. (Before I bought the mat I tested a $1 silicone spatula to see if it would work)!

Could you please demonstrate water spotting?

    • I have that on my video to-do list. It is similar to water marbling but instead of creating a pattern with the polish you spray it with alcohol (straight alcohol, perfume, body spray, hand sanitizer) and dip your finger in creating a “web” or spotted pattern.

I have read this tutorial and watched the no-mess water marbling tutorial on YouTube. Is there a way to store the designs created on the plastic for later use? I can’t wait to try this technique 🙂

Once the design is fully dry you can store them in a plastic baggie (put a piece of wax/parchment paper in between each piece to prevent them from sticking together. =)

This is just brilliant! How did you adjust the sides?

    • you could use scissors or cuticle nippers, I used scissors for the free edge and most of the excess around the cuticle then I went back with my cuticle nippers to trim away excess around the cuticle.

This is showing an error message saying you haven’t approved it for mobile devices. Could you change the setting so those of us on iPhones can watch? Thank you 🙂

    • I’m not sure how to change it, this is what it says “No, this video should not be available on mobile phones and TV.” I’ve tried clicking on it to change it but nothing happens. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.=)

  8. Wow really fabulous tutorial I love it!! I really want to try this now! You made it look so easy!! <3
