China Glaze Bohemian Collection….

purchased by me|affiliate link

OMG how happy was I to see the mailman show up with these!!! I ordered them from a great seller on eBay called justchinaglaze and I am super excited about these!!

Rare and Radiant-

Rare and Radiant is probably the most duochrome out of the collection. It has a gold base and switches between green and gold. In direct sun it’s all gold but once in the shade you can really see the green.

Unpredictable-

In the bottle Unpredictable looks very similar to Rare and Radiant but once you put it on the nail you notice they are very different. This one has a green base that flashes gold and blue, oh so pretty!!!

Deviantly Daring-

Deviantly Daring is a really pretty aqua/teal color. In the shade/low light it looks more green teal but in direct sun it looks more blue teal. This one doesn’t have a strong color shift but the color itself is gorgeous.

Want My Bawdy-

I wish I could capture the beauty of Want My Bawdy better! I don’t really care for the name but it is such a pretty blue/ purple (blurple). It doesn’t have that duochrome goodness that the others have but it’s still really pretty!!

No Plain Jane-

I didn’t think I would like No Plain Jane but oh how gorgeous it is. It has a purple base and flashes between pink and gold. I don’t think I’ve seen another color quite like this one!

Swanky Silk-

Swanky Silk is another color I thought I would hate, it looks very blah in the bottle. However, on the nail it’s actually very nice! This one has a gold base that flashes a pink/peach color, I couldn’t capture the pink awesomeness but IRL it’s so pretty!
Overall, I’m really pleased with this collection. The formula was great, not thick but not runny. You do see brushstrokes, but I think that comes with any chrome/metal/metallic polish. All of these are opaque in 2 coats and with the exception of Swanky Silk show no VNL(visible nail line) after 1 coat.
I wanted to experiment with how to make the duochrome show more so I applied 2 coats over white and black and this is what I discovered:
-Over white the base color comes through more. It also appears to maybe dull the color a bit.
-Over black the douchrome color becomes the dominant color. It deepens the color but it also seems to make the color shift stronger.

I can’t wait to play with these more, I’m excited to see how well these stamp!

Toԁay, I went tο the beach with my children. I found a sea
shеll and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell
toо her earr and screamed. There was a heemit crab inside
and it pinched her ear. Shhe never wants to go back! LoL I knmoω this іs completely off topic but I had too tell someone!

  4. Pretty colors. Thanks for the one- and two-coat comparisons. These don’t look like they’ll need three coats to look good! Now I want to go shopping.
